Meet Andrew Schach

My name is Andrew Schach. I was interested in law and justice from an early age. I continue to pursue these goals in my life to this day.

I am running for King County Superior Court Judge as an Administrative Law Judge since March 2023. I am a former law firm owner that specialized in immigration law. While performing this work, I spent years in court, defending clients, and supporting the enforcement of the law.

I previously worked in aviation law, working within administrative law, drafting contracts, creating entities, and assisting in mergers and acquisitions. This period was a valuable experience, but no period of time working through mergers and acquisitions is as valuable as time present in a courtroom each day.

Prior to being an attorney, I worked for 12 years with a healthcare software company. I worked as a consultant, analyst, and project manager. I designed and implemented software in both domestic and international hospitals. I believe my wide base of experience is an asset to understanding the multitude of backgrounds that present in court.

I have volunteered at various community events for more than 20 years with groups ranging from pro bono legal services to charities benefiting children.

In 2023, I was named to the Washington State Supreme Court Pro Bono Publico Honor Roll after providing over fifty hours of pro bono service in a year. I was also selected to the 2024 Washington Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers.

I hold a Juris Doctor, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management.

I was born in Kansas City, Kansas. I am a first-generation attorney. I am a commercially-certified pilot. I have been a pilot for over 20 years. I enjoy the performing arts, playing a round of golf, and competing on an adult softball team.

I ask for your vote and I look forward to the opportunity to serve as the next King County Superior Court Judge for position 41.
